Comment: “It’s a great honor to be the first to win this award and be recognized for my play this season,” said Duguay, who overcame a bout with endometrial cancer in February. “It couldn’t have come at a better time. The time right after my diagnosis until after my surgery was probably the most stressful. During that time, I really had to come to terms with a lot of things. One of them was golf. It completely changed my mental attitude on the course. I’m much more positive and able to put bad shots behind me.”
