Tip to Amateurs
: It is all about balance. Without balance, you will never be as powerful or as accurate through impact asyou are capable of being. To test your balance, take out your six or 7-iron and tee up a ball. Take your regular mid-iron set-up (ball positioned somewhere between the middle and front of your stance) and swing the club up to the top of your backswing. Hold for a five count. Then go down and through the ball (hit the darn thing and break the tee in half). Hold your finish for a five count. A proper finish means 90 % of your weight on your front foot (left foot for us right-handers). Bellybutton facing target—NOT THE 1st BASE COACH!!! Bottom of your back foot is vertical (Toes Touching Only!!)    You might be surprised how this can be a great way to warm up for a round!!!!  Enjoy your golf!!
